The Lebanese Syndrome
A kidnapped population adoring its kidnappers.
They made of their kidnappers Gods, Prophets and Saints.
They will fight and sacrifice for them, and even die.. While the kidnappers laugh and thrive along with their children, wives and militiamen.
They reelect them to their higher chairs, so they worship them again.
The Lebanese claim they are civilsed Francophones, English, speaking, Arabic and Persian. Whoever pays more.
They lost their life savings in a conspiracy blessed by the spiritual leaders. Yet they attend Friday and Sunday prayers,, conducted by the looters.
No wonder Lebanon was colonised by the Turks, French and ruled by the Egyptians and Palestinians.
Lebanon and Lebanese got addicted to begging. They begged from Libyans and Iraqis, and then Saudis, Gulf and Iranians.
The Lebanese Syndrome had become more advanced than the Stockholm syndrome.
Lebanon is a property occupied by tribes..
It was and still a Mirage.. Was never a country unified by “Lebanonism”..
