Does this #life stimulate #life?
Or is it maskef death masked?
There is a tragedy within a tragedy in what is happening.
And it’s not death.
We have no choice in death…as well as in birth…
The conscience cannot be convinced that brutality has become a normacy.
We thought that the killing scenes, from dinosaur and cowboy films, to police and violent ones, were just fake depictions.
Today tens of thousands are dying in Gaza.
Every scene depicts brutality and savegry..
Such as a child’s torn body…
A scene of a surgeon father, bidding farewell to his three sons…
A father searching for his four children under the rubble…
The body of a parents next to the bodies of their children…
A child showing a wound on his palm to his brother, while they were both shivering of shock and cold…
A doctor searching for his children. Once found, he glances at their bodies, thanks God, and returns to his work..
It has become a natural landscape.
Millions witnessed and many cried because of the scene’s horrors..
Every brutal killing of a human being is a tragedy, which could be a drama play…
It had family, friends, and normal life..
As in Iraq, Syria, Libya and Sudan, and before that Mr the civil war in Lebanon, so it is today in Gaza…
Human tragedies become numbers.
There were a million victims in Iraq.
In Syria, half a million…
There were two hundred thousand in Lebanon.
Ten thousand victims in Gaza during this battle, and thousands in previous battles.
And so.. and so..it continues.
This tragedy will end sometimes soon, while a new another awaits.
Soon all will again go their way… While the victims vanished… even from memory… except as numbers…
Is life that ugly?
The most frustrating about it, is similar to the fact that as we are helpless to know why we came to this Earth, and where we go…
there is no answer for ourselves… except helplessness…
Why are children killed so brutally?
While criminals and murderers endure? …
Why while innocent people die… Killers thrive…?
Where are you, My Lord? ..
